AGE levels in sera of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. The level of N^ε-(carboxyethyl)lysine (expressed as equivalents of CEL-crystallin) and the level of 103-E3 antigen (expressed as equivalents of Rib-BSA) were measured in sera of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis (OA). The value 1.0 was assigned to samples with CEL levels below the limit of detection of ELISA with mAb 8-C1, to allow their inclusion in statistical analyses with nonparametric test.
