(a) The sustained responders had a slow onset increase in FR that remained elevated after the termination of restraint. (b) The restraint-locked responders increased their FR during the restraint procedure. (c) Change-of-condition responders had a brief increase in FR immediately after the restraint began, and a second increase in FR after the restraint was terminated. (d) Non-responders had no significant response to restraint.
