Hip abduction and external rotation strength are weaker (p = 0.0084 and p = 0.0428, respectively) on the ipsilateral compared with the contralateral leg at a minimum of 12 months postoperatively. Abd-I = hip abduction ipsilateral; Abd-C = hip abduction contralateral; ER-I = hip external rotation ipsilateral; ER-C = hip external rotation contralateral; IR-I = hip internal rotation ipsilateral; IR-C = hip internal rotation contralateral.
