Yields shown in Table 1 recast to show the degree of modification M(base) by each of the four bases.a M(base) equals 1.0 when the yield of a base expressed as a percentage of the total fbr G%(base) is equal to the mole fraction F%(base) of that base in the oligomer. When M(base) = 1.0, the base does not, on average, modify its own release.
