Effect of leptin receptor mutations on MTP activity and mRNA levels. Intestinal and liver samples from Leprdb/+ and db/db female mice (n = 5 per group) were used for MTP activity assays (Panels A and C). RNA was used to measure in triplicate MTP (Panels B and D) and ARPp0 mRNA. The ratio between MTP and ARPp0 in db/+ was used to normalize mRNA levels in all samples.
