Important Points Concerning the Asian Face Lift

Zygoma projection and mandibular angularity are perceived as severe traits
Full cheeks, smooth mandibular outline, and an oval facial shape are desirable
Skin resection is often minimal compared with that in Caucasians
The modified deep-plane face lift is well suited to reposition the descended subcutaneous tissues
Neck dissection and redraping is often less aggressive than that in Caucasians
Scars should be well concealed as hypertrophic scarring is more frequent
