Effects of differential microtubule glutamylation on katanin p60. (A) U2OS cells were cotransfected with katanin p60-EYFP and either active TTLL6 or an inactive mutant (TTLL6d), with CFP as transfection control. Activation of katanin leads to MT localization of katanin p60, and sometimes to MT bundling and/or severing. Bar, 20 µm.
