Cadmium decreases plasma membrane CFTR. Calu-3 cells were exposed to 50μM cadmium for 3 days. Plasma membrane proteins were labeled with biotin and the same amount of total protein was incubated with streptavidin beads as described in the “Materials and Methods” section.
