Treatment with genistein and biochanin A induced decreases in survival and proliferation in SCC25 cells. Cells (5000 cells per well) were seeded onto a 96-well plate and treated with 0, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 μM of genistein, biochanin A and dadzein, respectively for 72 h. Cell survival was then determined by MTT assay. Data represent the mean ± SD of at least three independent experiments. Statistical significance was determined by ANOVA and post hoc Tukey test.
