a

Multivariate analyses adjusted for age at menarche, parity, duration of oral contraceptive use, tubal ligation history, height, family history of breast or ovarian cancer, caffeine intake, hysterectomy, and waist and BMI in the hip analysis. Postmenopausal analysis also adjusted for postmenopausal hormone use (never, past, current use).

b

P-value from multivariate model with hip or BMI using the quintile median as a continuous variable.
