Relative percent abundance of HDA (), monoacetyl-HDA (), and diacetyl-HDA () in derivatized mixtures synthesized by varying the molar ratios of acetic anhydride to HDA (0.7:1 to 4:1) in acetonitrile (A) or ethyl acetate (B), reacting for 2 h, drying filtrates under N₂, and preparing 1 μg/ml solutions in ethyl acetate.
