Model of inter-tissue crosstalk. Summary of potential effects of cytokines and growth factors predominantly secreted by parenchyma (PAR) or mammary fat pad (MFP) tissue on molecular and cellular functions and signaling pathways suggested by differentially expressed genes (DEG) of the MFP or PAR. The model is based on results from the current study and functions and pathways reported are relative to the functional analysis performed by Ingenuity Pathway Analysis^®of interactive networks shown in Figure 5 and 6.
