Hydroxyacylcarnitines after an exercise in 8 subjects with LCHAD or TFP deficiency

A) Change in the sum of long-chain hydroxyacylcarnitines before and after exercise among subjects who are homozygous ● or heterozygous □ for c.1528G>C mutation and subjects who have TFP deficiency Inline graphic. There was no difference in long-chain hydroxyacylcarnitines between homozygous and heterozygous for c.1528G>C mutation at any timepoint. Long-chain hydroxyacylcarnitines were significantly lower among the siblings with TFP deficiency at all timepoints. B) Total long-chain hydroxyacylcarnitines area under the curve (AUC) was significantly lower among the siblings with TFP deficiency compared to the other two groups. * indicates p< 0.05.
