Assay conditions included 1 mM d-diC₈PI and 2 mM ATP as substrates, 5 mM Mg²⁺, in 50 mM Tris HCl, pH 7.5, with 3 mM of the deoxy-PI analogs.

For several of the samples run in duplicate, the error in determining the specific activity was <10%.
