The WS commonly deleted region is shown above. Filled arrows represent genes for which single gene mouse models exist and their names are shown in bold type. The range of the two existing deletion mouse models are shown below. Note that both deletions disrupt Limk1, so that mice carrying both deletions are Limk1-null. Cldn13 is present within this region in mice, but not in humans. WSCR23, is present within an intronic region of GTF2IRD1 in humans, but not in mice.
