Rnq1PFD fibers formed at higher temperatures are more stable. Preformed fibers were treated across a temperature gradient in the presence of 2% SDS. Following SDS-PAGE and Western blot, the amount of soluble Rnq1PFD was quantified, and the results were graphed as a percentage of total protein at 95 °C using OriginPro 6.1 with a sigmoidal fit function.
