a

The denominators used to compute the percentages for questions about condom use were based on the number indicating that they had performed the type of intercourse in question. For example, to determine the percentage of respondents who reported they always used a condom during anal intercourse with their main partner, the total number of respondents who performed anal intercourse with their main partner served as the denominator. The percentages were calculated similarly for the responses usually, sometimes, rarely, and never for all partner types and all types of sexual behavior.

b

This question was not asked about commercial sex partners.

c

Percentages not reported because missing responses were not used in the calculation of the ORs.

d

Modeled as always versus other.
