(A) A normal distribution of CD31-stained vessels is detected in ganglion cell (GC) layer, inner plexiform layer (IPL) and outer plexiform layer (OPL) in the wild-type retina. (B) An abnormal distribution of CD31-stained vessels is observed in the homozygous mutant retina, and fewer CD31-positive signals are observed in the outer plexiform layer. The scale bar is 50 µm.
