The effect of SPS on glutamate, glutamine, and GABA in the mPFC, hippocampus, and amygdala complex. A) SPS attenuated basal levels of glutamate and glutamine in the mPFC, but had no effect on GABA levels. B) SPS had no effect on any neurochemicals in the hippocampus or C) amygdala complex.
