Taurocholate and insulin increase the phosphorylation of FOX01 on thr²⁴ in primary rat hepatocytes (representative blot). Primary rat hepatocytes were prepared without added insulin as described in “Materials and Methods.” After 24 h, insulin (50 nM), TCA (50 µM), both, or deoxycholate (50 µM) were added and incubated for 10 or 20 min and harvested as cell lysates for Western blot analysis.
