Immunostaining and quantification of amacrine cell culture purity. P7 amacrine cells were acutely purified and plated on glass coverslips in serum-free medium. At 1 DIV, the cells were immunostained for the amacrine cell marker syntaxin (HPC-1) and the bipolar cell marker Chx10. The table shows the percentage of cells that were immunopositive for each marker and represents the average of three coverslips (n > 90 cells per coverslip).
