Table 1.

Growth restriction in fetoplacental units at day E14.5 and E16.5 after C. rectus infection. Data represent mean values±SD per group. Pregnant mice received an intra-chamber injection of live C. rectus or saline at E7.5. Mice were sacrificed at E14.5 and 16.5 for the analysis of their fetoplacental tissues. Mean placental and fetoplacental weight were significantly different between non-infected controls and C. rectus-infected mice. n values correspond to the number of fetuses or placentas analyzed.
