(A) HEK293 cells were transfected with TLR3, HBV Pol, and DDX3 expression construct as indicated. Two days posttransfection, cells were stimulated with poly I∶C for 8 h. Western blot analysis was performed as described in Materials and Methods. (B) HEK293 cells were transfected with GFP-IRF3, TLR3, HBV Pol, and DDX3 expression constructs, as labeled either above or below each panel by a, b, c, and d. Two days posttransfection, cells were treated with poly I∶C for 8 h. Cells were examined by confocal microscopy.
