Hand position drifted slightly during the initial hold period, prior to the first movement (thick gray traces). This drift was corrected by the animal to keep the cursor within the center home target (see plot of cursor positions at right). No drift was evident between subsequent movements (thick black traces), due to the short reaction time-length delays between the end of one movement and start of the next.
