Right atrial pressure ≥10 mmHg was used to define hemodynamic right ventricular decompensation. Infundibular wall fractional thickening of 54% distinguished patients with normal PA pressure from PH patients (PH‐C and PH‐D). (B) Cardiac index versus infundibular wall fractional thickening. A cardiac index of 2.0 L/min/m2 distinguished hemodynamically compensated RV function (PH‐C) from hemodynamically decompensated RV function (PH‐D).
