Table 2.

Multiplex Screen Summary, 8,000 Compounds

Active Wells Unique Wells Cmpds with Activity in DRC Number of unique wells with confirmed actives
RGS 4 44 (2.2%) 15 (0.75%) 9/60 (15%) 7
RGS 8 65 (3.3%) 7 (0.35%) 2/28 (7%) 2
RGS 16 77 (3.9%) 27 (1.4%) 14/104 (13%) 10
RGS 6 29 (1.5%) 19 (0.95%) 3/76 (4%) 3
RGS 7 34 (1.7%) 6 (0.3%) 2/24 (8%) 2

In the table above, the number (percentage) of active wells was defined as those wells showing a 60% or greater inhibition of the RGS/Gαo interaction for the indicated RGS. The number of unique wells indicates the number of wells for which only the single specified RGS was inhibited. Those unique wells were further analyzed in DRC and the number compounds with activity following deconvolution of the four compounds from each active well is shown. The number of unique wells that produced an active compound is indicated in the last column. Thus for RGS4 and RGS16 some wells produced more than one active compound but for RGS6, 7, and 8 there was only one active compound (out of the four) in each well.
