Kinetic parameters of the D1 RNA compaction at low magnesium ion concentrations. D1 (1 nM) was studied at 1 and 3 mM MgCl2 and 30 °C in the absence and in the presence of WT Mss 116 (20 nM) and ATP (1 mM). Values for 8 mM MgCl2 are from Table 1.
