Outcome analyses. Risk for unfavorable outcome (GOS < 5). Odds ratios with confidence interval from a logistic regression model are shown (leptomeningeal metastases, LM). Patients with bacterial meningitis and LM showed an increased risk for unfavorable outcome compared to patients with viral meningoencephalitis.
