BrdU incorporation is increased in wild type microglia/macrophages following cuprizone treatment.

The percent of RCA-1+ microglia/macrophages which incorporated BrdU at the 3 week treatment point (n = 4 per genotype) was greater in wild type mice than in I-Aβ−/− or I-Aβtr mice. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Kruskal-Wallis nonparametric ANOVA test because the values did not fall within a normal U-shaped distribution.
