(a) Calu-3 cells were incubated (or not, as control) for 48 hrs with TFG-β1 (20 ng/ml) or neutrophils (5 × 106 cells) in the presence or not of the antioxidants N-acetylcysteine (NAC,10 mM, grey bars) or glutathione (GSH, 10 mM, solid bars).
