For each rat (rows), the coefficient of determination (r2) and the p value (significance: p < 0.05) for the correlation between each of the measures [down states (DS), K-complexes (KC), LVSs, and HVSs] are shown (p is zero to MATLAB precision). For all rats, all of the measures are significantly correlated with each other, with the exception of the K-complexes and the high-voltage spindles in rat 2.
