Subcellular localization of viral dsRNA. Cells were infected with TBEV (MOI of 1) or left uninfected (mock) and fixed 24 h later with 3% paraformaldehyde. Fixed cells were treated either with Triton X-100, which permeabilizes all cellular membranes, or with SL-O, which selectively permeabilizes the plasma membrane.
