Waist circumference > 102 cm (men) or >88 cm (women)

HDL cholesterol level < 1.04 mmol/1 (men) or <1.29 mmol/1 (women) or treatment with lipid lowering drugs

Triglyceride level ≥ 1.7145 mmol/1 or treatment with lipid lowering drugs

Fasting glucose ≥ 110 mg/dl or ensured diabetic (OGTT) or treatment with oral antidiabetics or insulin

Blood pressure ≥130 / ≥85 mm Hg or treatment with antihypertensive drugs
