GFP-swiggle increases MT1-MMP mediated cell migration. (A) Untransfected MCF7 cells or cells expressing MT1-MMP alone or together with GFP-s14, or GFP-swiggle were incubated on colloidal gold-coated coverslips for 24 hours at 37°C. Cells were then fixed and immunostained with an MT1-MMP antibody. The area of migration of at least 50 cells was measured and averaged.
