The levels or approximate quintiles were determined overall and by gender. The levels (and the number of observations) are defined as follows: males: level 1 = 0–11 laps (n = 560), level 2 = 12–16 laps (n = 438), level 3 = 17–24 laps (n = 433), level 4 = 25–35 laps (n = 458), and level 5 = 36–89 laps (n = 452); females: level 1 = 0–11 laps (n = 631), level 2 = 12–15 laps (n = 554), level 3 = 16–18 laps (n = 385), level 4 = 19–26 laps (n = 573), and level 5 = 27–74 laps (n = 471).
