Plain T1-weighted spoiled 2D gradient echo (GRE) A) T2-weighted half-Fourier acquisition single-shot turbo spin-echo (HASTE) B) hepatocellular phase gadoxetic acid-enhanced fat-suppressed (FS) T1-weighted spoiled 3D GRE C) and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) D) in the axial plane. Multiple liver metastases are better visualized on gadoxetic acid-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and also DWI compared to plain T1- and T2-weighted MRI.
