Here are the proportions of horses that behaved aggressively at least once during the behavioural tests in relation to the number of affected vertebrae they had: totally unaffected (no affected vertebrae), slightly affected (only one slightly affected vertebra), from 2 severely affected vertebrae until one third of their spine (namely 17 vertebrae), 2 thirds of their spine and more than 2 thirds of the spine. Slightly affected horse reacted both similarly to totally unaffected horses and differently from severely affected horses (that were more prone to react aggressively towards humans in the tests whatever the number of affected vertebrae they have).
