Adult animals were given ¹²⁵I, and, at indicated time intervals, the radioactivity was determined in their thyroid glands by counting in vivo and in serum samples (see Methods). Results of thyroidal radioactivity are expressed as percent of the maximal ¹²⁵I uptake, being 100% at 8 hours (A).
