^a Both τ_s and ΔR_s(0) could be obtained in the fit for both samples (5 mm diC₆PC and 14.4 μm protein), with slightly larger errors in τ_s. Therefore, the maximum and minimum τ_s were used to find the range in r_P-e (and hence the error).
