Dopamine receptor antagonists. cAMP was measured (pmol/mg protein) in cells expressing D_1αPan,D_1βPan, and D_2αPan receptors in the presence of 10⁻⁵ M DA and increasing concentration of flupenthixol or metoclopramide. Data for a given experiment were normalized to the change in cAMP evoked by DA in the absence of antagonist. The change induced by DA + antagonist are expressed as a percent of the change induced by DA alone (indicated as 100%, - - -). Plots represent the average of ≥3 separate experiments, and a given point was the average of duplicates within each experiment.
