The spinal cord extract were immunoblotted for the dual-phosphorylated form of ERK and for phosphor-P38. pERK1/2 is upregulated in injured mice as compared to sham-operated mice (A). Spinal cord levels of pERK1/2 were significantly attenuated in olprinone (0,2 mg/kg)-SCI treated mice in comparison to SCI animals (A). Similarly, the treatment with olprinone significantly reduced the SCI-induced increase of the expression of phospho-P38 (B).
