HeLa cells were co-transfected with poly(IC) and C or C-IU, and harvested after 2 and 12h. (a) Expression of numerous genes enriched ≥1.5-fold at 12h with C relative to C-IU on the array was validated using RT/qPCR (n=4). Fold-change in mRNA levels was relative to those at 2h with C dsRNA, and normalized to GapDH. (b) Expression of selected genes that are unchanged at 12h with C relative to C-IU was validated using RT/qPCR. Expression at 12h is relative to that at 2h with C (n=4). All error bars are mean ± s.d.
