Inhibitory effect of RSCL-0520 on TNF-α mRNA expression in THP-1 cells. Total RNA was isolated from THP-1 cells 1 h after exposure to LPS (250 ng·mL⁻¹) with or without 50 µM RSCL-0520. The cDNA was used for real-time PCR with primers specific for human TNF-α and for the housekeeping gene β-actin. The fold change of TNF-α mRNA in treated cells over control was obtained after correction for the amount of β-actin.
