(B) The current elicited by GABA (1 μM) and voltage steps from −120 to +40 mV (20-mV steps) were applied to an oocyte expressing ρ1-GFP (Inset). The current–voltage relation gave an equilibrium potential close to −30 mV, similar to the chloride equilibrium potential in oocytes.
