Flavonoid effect on basal COX-2 expression. IEC18 were cultured with nine different flavonoid compounds (50 µM) for 24 h. Whole cell proteins were isolated and separated using acrylamide gels, and COX-2 expression was assessed by Western blot. Data are representative of three different experiments.
