Activation of the MAPK signaling pathway mediates BDNF-induced dendritic growth. Cortical neurons were stimulated with BDNF for 24 h in the presence or absence of the MEK inhibitor U0126 (A), the PI3K inhibitor LY294002 (B), or the PLC inhibitor U73122 (C). In the bar charts, the number of branch points and the total dendritic length of cortical neurons were quantified for each condition.
