Correlation between MAPKs and NF-κB activation and proinflammatory factor production as well as p47 activation

Primary microglia-enriched cultures were pretreated with resveratrol (60 μM) for 30 min and then incubated with LPS (10 ng/ml) for 15 min. The activation of various molecular signaling molecules (Figs. 7B, 8B, and 6C) and the production of proinflammatory factors (Fig. 5A) were described in detail in corresponding figure legends. A Pearson's coefficient test was conducted using GraphPad Prism software. The coefficient of determination (r²; square of the correlation coefficient, r) and P value (two-tailed) were displayed in the table to indicate the correlation between groups. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. P < 0.05 and r > 0 (first four columns, data not shown) indicate a positive correlation, whereas P < 0.05 and r < 0 indicate a negative correlation.
