Cofactor dependencies for SSBs and DSBs produced in isolated nuclei by SN26955. HeLa cell nuclei were incubated under hypoxic conditions for 1 hr with 0.25 µM SN26955 with various concentrations of NADH or NADPH or both cofactors, and the SSBs and DSBs were measured using the alkaline and neutral comet assays, respectively. Data pooled from three experiments with the SEM limits are shown.
