Effects of normobaric oxygen manipulation on the aPS. A: exposure to 0.60 ATA O2 caused a significant suppression in the aPS that was reversible upon return to control O2 (n = 7, ***P < 0.001). B: exposure to 0.00 ATA O2 caused a significant suppression in the aPS that was greater than the inhibition during exposure to 0.60 ATA O2 (n = 7, ***P < 0.001).
