2^nd generation Fluidigm Digital Arrays™ provide for 48 independent haplotyping experiments with each 2-h run of the platform. Loading wells for the 48 experiments are at the top end of the array. Each well leads to a panel of 770 reaction chambers, in which individual target molecules can be isolated and assayed.
